The Four C's Millwork Apprenticeship program takes four years to complete. To qualify for the program you must have graduated from grade 12 or obtained a G.E.D. and have passed Math-23, equivalent or higher. The Apprenticeship Program is composed of shop work hours and four 8-week block courses, one in each year, taken at either NAIT in Edmonton or SAIT in Calgary.

In recognition of the value Four C's Millwork places on technical schooling, full-time employees, who have been with the company for 6 full months or longer, qualify for a scholarship that covers 50% of their tuition costs. In addition, employees that qualify for the tuition scholarship are also awarded a living allowance of $600 paid prior to commencement of their course. Upon completion of half of their course a copy of marks and attendance is to be faxed to Four C's Millwork. If the employee is receiving a passing grade and they have 100% attendance a further $600 for the last half of the course will be awarded.

Employees who have not yet been with the company 6 full months and attend technical college must pay their own tuition in full, however once they have completed six full months of employment by the company the scholarship is granted retroactively and included on a subsequent pay check.

Any employee who completes the full four years, receives their Journeyman certificate and works an additional full year with Four C's Millwork (representing a total commitment of 5 years) will be reimbursed the other 50% of tuition costs incurred during their apprenticeship.
